Polish packaging magazine Opakowanie names isAuthentic among the three most interesting authentication solutions at LuxePack Monaco.
This October, the Polish print publication Opakowanie looks at luxury packaging, where material, technology and design come together. In its overview “Innovative Packaging Security at LuxePack 2026,” the magazine picked three exhibitors it found the most interesting from this year’s show in Monaco, and Blue Cromos is one of them. Innovative Packaging Security at LuxePack 2026
Product authentication technologies are constantly evolving. At this year's LuxePack trade show in Monaco, many exhibitors presented their innovative solutions. We take a closer look at three that we found the most interesting.
Blue Cromos: isAuthentic
Malmö-based technology company Blue Cromos presented isAuthentic, its proprietary platform for brand protection that does away with external markers, labels or tags. Using advanced optics, vision systems and proprietary artificial intelligence, the Markerless Protocol system scans the unique, naturally occurring microstructure of a material's surface or of existing packaging to create a permanent, uncopyable “digital fingerprint” stored in the cloud.
Blue Cromos's authentication technology requires no physical modifications to the product itself and no extra production steps, so product design stays unchanged. The platform serves different industries through three segments: isAuthentic Surface, for manufacturers of solid surfaces such as metal or wood, verified through unique micro-patterns on the surface; isAuthentic Fingerprint, designed for packaging verified with a mobile app; and isAuthentic AI, for authentication at the level of a specific SKU (stock keeping unit) via a mobile app.
