Do I need to add anything to my products for authentication?
No. Every product already has a unique surface structure, invisible to the human eye but readable by light and AI. We capture that structure and convert it into a Digital Fingerprint stored securely in the cloud. From that point, any unit can be verified in seconds, anywhere in the value chain. Our role is not to add something new - it is to reveal what is already there.
How do you know what a genuine product looks like if you don't change it?
Genuine items are enrolled once - at production, or at a defined point in the value chain - which gives each item a verifiable identity. Every later check confirms a unit against that record. The product leaves the line exactly as it was designed, and every unit that does is already enrolled and verifiable.
Will it change my packaging or production line?
No redesign, no markers, no chips, no production distruption. isAuthentic AI works at SKU level through the mobile app with no line integration. isAuthentic Boxes & Labels and isAuthentic Surfaces capture each item on the existing line. The product and its design stay exactly as they are.
What if my products are worn, scratched, or aged?
sAuthentic Surfaces recognizes a unit with up to 50% wear and tear, because verification reads the structure of the surface rather than one fixed point. Normal handling, transport, and age do not remove the identity.
Who can verify a product, and how?
Verification takes seconds and can happen anywhere in the value chain. With isAuthentic AI and isAuthentic Boxes & Labels it runs through the mobile app, so brand teams, distribution partners, customs officers, and consumers can all verify a unit with a standard smartphone. No scanner and no specialist hardware required.
How does this support Digital Product Passport (DPP) compliance?
A Digital Product Passport confirms that the data attached to a label is correct. It does not confirm that the product behind the label is genuine. Authentication is what makes DPP data trustworthy - it ties the passport to the verified physical item. Markerless verification adds this without adding anything to the product.
Where is our data stored, and who owns it?
You own your data. Blue Cromos only processes it - you keep full control and ownership of your Digital Fingerprint records at all times. The data is stored securely in the cloud, with access restricted to authorized users, and verification runs there with no impact on your existing IT infrastructure.
